Chongqing PigeonPorcelain Insulator co., Ltd. is restructured from Chongqing Electrical Porcelain Factory, the main enterprise designated by the former Ministry of Machinery Industry to produce high-voltage electrical porcelain. It is invested and established by Chongqing Pigeon Electric Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. and affiliated to Chongqing Machinery Electronics Holding Group Co., Ltd. It was listed in Hong Kong in June 2008. As the backbone enterprise of the national electrical porcelain industry, it is also the largest high-voltage electrical porcelain production base in Southwest China.

Located at No. 10, Hequan North 1st Road, Yanjia Industrial Park, Changshou District, Chongqing, China, the Company is 70 km away from the central area of Chongqing, 2 km away from Shapingba-Changshou Expressway, 5 km away from water transport port of the Yangtze River and 5 km away from Changshou Station Chongqing-Huaihua Railway. Thus it has convenient transportation conditions. With an area of 122 mu and construction investment of more than RMB 160 million, the Company has more than 30 professional technicians and nearly 150 employees. 

      The Company has won the honorary titles of National Intellectual Property Advanced Enterprise, National Specialized, Refined, Characteristic and Innovative "Little Giant" Enterprise, Chongqing High-tech Enterprise, Chongqing Enterprise Technology Center and Chongqing Specialized, Refined, Characteristic and Innovative "Little Giant" Enterprise, and its products such as AC cap suspension porcelain insulator and rod porcelain insulator for high-speed railway have been rated as the famous brand products in Chongqing. Further, it has been appointed as the qualified supplier of AC 500 kV and 750 kV products for the State Grid. The Company has passed the CRCC certification and evaluation of cap suspension porcelain insulators and rod porcelain insulators of 160 km/h and below, 200-250 km/h and 300-350 km/h, and the administrative licensing qualification examination of rod porcelain insulators of 160 km/h and below, 200-250 km/h and 300-350 km/h by the National Railway Administration.

Now, the Company has one production line of railway rods, two production lines of line products and one production line of electrical products. It has realized an annual output of more than 120,000 railway rod products, 1.2 million cap suspension insulators and 70,000 10 kV electrical products. In addition, it has more than 500 sets of various production and inspection equipment.

      Chongqing PigeonPorcelain Insulator co., Ltd. has a production history of more than 70 years for "Chongci" electrical porcelain series products. With strong technology and production capacity, it can produce more than 200 varieties of products of 26 series, and all these products have passed the appraisal of national authoritative organizations.

It passed the ISO9001 Quality System Certification in 1998, the new version of GB/T19001-2016/ISO9001:2015 Quality System Audit in 2017, the GB/T24001-2016/ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification in 2019, the GB/T29490-2013 Intellectual Property Management System Certification in 2020 and the GB/T23000-2017 Information and Industrialization Integration Management System Certification in 2021.
